After a career in Commercial Insurance and some time spent working for a heating & cooling wholesaler, Pam Lincoln took the leap to the nonprofit world and joined Starfish Family Services in 1998 as a Program Administrative Assistant. In 2003 she transitioned to Administration holding roles in Development and, unofficially the CEO’s assistant. In 2005 Pam was honored with the Starfish Award, which at the time was similar to Employee of the Year. In 2008, she was officially given the title Assistant to the CEO under the leadership of Ann Kalass. Pam supports Ann Kalass and the Starfish Board of Directors, plays a coordinating role in special projects, and supports internal & external communication. In addition she is a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Pam feels it was Divine Intervention that brought her to Starfish. Her faith calls her to serve others and Starfish is the perfect place to honor that calling. In her home office, Pam has a framed quote that was given to her by her first supervisor at Starfish. It reads, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work another day in your life.” To Pam, Starfish isn’t a job, it’s a ministry.
Pam married to her high school sweetheart, Ben since 1981, lives in Westland, Michigan and has one amazing son.
